Elecnor's commitment to fighting corruption and bribery is based on theses principles and values and is expressly set out in its Elecnor Ethic Code, Compliance Policy and Anti-Corruption Policy, which establish that:
Elecnor Group Compliance System is the organisation's main tool for combating corruption and bribery. As a sign of its commitment to this objective, its vocation for continuous improvement and for being a national and international benchmark in the field of compliance, in January 2018 Elecnor Group became the first Spanish company in its sector to obtain certification under the UNE-ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems standard, the foresmot stringent international certification standard for coordinating management systems in compliance and anti-corruption.
In addition, Elecnor Group Compliance System received the UNE-19601 Management System for Criminal Compliance certification, in January 2019, which in the benchmark in Spain for designing and coordinating crime and penal risk prevention system, and which is based on the highest international standards in this field.
All Elecnor employees are required to report any irregular practices or conduct or potential crimes that they are aware of or have witnessed. Elecnor has a procedure for this eventuality that allows all its employees to confidentially communicate, in good faith and without fear of reprisals, any conduct that is not in line with Elecnor's Code of Ethics, the rules on which it is based, policies and procedures that expand on it, or with the law.
