Alameda Corridor-Eat Authority (ACE) constructed a six-lane roadway underpass and double-track railway bridge to completely grade separate Nogales Street with the railroad (Los Angeles Subdivision) between San Jose Avenue and Gale Avenue/Walnut Drive North in the Cities of Rowland Heights and Industry. Gale Avenue and Walnut Drive North near Nogales Street was widened to two lanes in each direction to ease a traffic chokepoint. Construction of the Nogales Street Grade Separation began in May 2013. With the completion of the temporary railroad crossing at Charlie Road, Nogales Street between San Jose Avenue and Gale Avenue/ Walnut Drive North was closed in March 2014 for underpass and bridge construction. Nogales Street re-opened to traffic in June 2016. The project included work at (8) traffic signal intersections.
Belco provided full service electrical installation of the traffic signal and street lighting systems.
